Nicki Minaj & 50 Cent Assert ‘Jealousy’ Caused Pop Smoke’s Death
Was Pop Smoke Murdered Out Of Jealousy?
Fast rising Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke was tragically shot and killed after a home invasion robbery. The 20 year old was murdered in his rented house in the upscale Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles.
Two men wearing hoodies and masks burst into the house, fired multiple shots, striking and critically wounding Pop Smoke. Then robbed him of some properties.
Hip Hop community has been reacting to the sudden death of Pop Smoke who seems to be on his way to stardom. Nicki Minaj believes his death was as a result of ‘jealousy’, likewise 50 Cent, who thinks jealousy is one of those things that comes with success.

Their theories can be backed based on the fact that, just last week, Pop Smoke was celebrating the tremendous success of his new album, “Meet The Woo 2”, which debuted within the Top 10 on the Billboard 200.
Nicki Minaj is openly a fan of Pop Smoke and even gave him a co-sign by hopping on the official remix to “Welcome to the Party,” which helped expose the rapper to a whole new crowd.
“The Bible tells us that jealousy is as cruel as the grave. Unbelievable. Rest In Peace, Pop,” she wrote in a tribute post on instagram.

50 Cent on the other hand seems hit with the loss. The Power executive producer shared couple of posts on instagram, remembering the late rapper.
He shared one of Pop’s interviews, a photo and short clip of moments he had with him when he was alive and gave a similar caption to that of Nicki Minaj.
“No such thing as success with out jealousy, treachery comes from those who are close. R.i.P.”
