Chicago might just be the home of violence in America following reports that 8 people were shot in the city yesterday.

The violent act happened even though the city is on lockdown for CoronaVirus.




The first victim is a 25-year-old man, who was shot in the arm while standing outside, Chicago police said. The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center and is expected to make a full recovery.

Victims #5 and #6 are a 21 year old man, and his 17 year old male family member who were shot in an alley, according to police. At around 7:00 yesterday evening, a man walked up to the two and opened fire. The teen was hit once in the leg and the man in the arm and hip. Both are expected to make a full recovery.

Seventh victim is a 16 year old boy that police say was shot in the arm and face, in broad daylight. Police say that a shooter pulled up on the boy and fired multiple shots. The boy was taken to. Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition.




And the last victim is a 31-year-old man who was walking down the street, and hit be a stray bullet. The man was struck in the right leg and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, police said.
