Jay Electronica & Joe Budden Shade Each Other Over New Album
Jay Electronica dropped his long anticipated debut album “A Written Testimony” last week after over a decade of in the game and it was surprisingly a Jay Z collabo project.
But according to Joe Budden, a critical analyst of Hip Hop and Pop culture, Jay Z bodied Jay Electronica on the album.
“It is a mistake. As a rapper, I’m telling you, he (Jay Electronica) got smacked around by Jay-Z. Granted, this is hate, but it’s rapper hate,” Joe said.

And after Jay Electronica heard Joe Budden’s critique of the album, he didn’t hesitate to fire back at the podcaster claiming that Budden never made a classic during his days as a rapper.
“I never got absolutely mopped around on my own project either,” Joe wrote in response to Electronica’s meme toward one of the podcaster’s co-hosts.
I never got absolutely mopped around on my own project either… @ me, not Rory. https://t.co/SfMRZ4BaVR

“I never heard your albums bro. may Allah bless your career as a journalist,” replied Electronica with some subtle shade.
“I took you off yours & it’s a Hov mixtape now… Peace be unto you as well King,” said Budden with some major shade.
