Drake Reacts To Ex Minneapolis Cop Thomas Lane’s Lawyer Attempt To Justify The Situation

It’s unlike of Drake to give his opinion on political or public matters, but the George Floyd incidents got the Toronto rapper expressing his feelings towards social injustice, racism and police brutality.

Nevertheless, anyone who’s got blood flowing in his veins would be prone to have a reaction to the ongoing protests and riots across the country.

Drizzy had earlier paid tribute to George Floyd with a poem by social activist Assata Shakur. “I believe in living. I believe in the spectrum of Beta days and Gamma people. I believe in sunshine. In windmills and waterfalls, tricycles and rocking chairs,” the poem titled “Affirmation” begins.

And today, Drake shared his view of the T.V. as he watched an interview between Thomas Lane’s lawyer and Chris Cuomo on CNN. Lane is one of the three officers charged in aiding and abetting Derek Chauvin in the murder of Floyd.

Drake wrote in reaction to the interview: “Thomas Lane lawyer struggling through an ATTEMPT to justify this situation live on television…can’t even decide how to defend his client, this shit is foul to watch.”
