Video Of Kanye West Marching With ‘Black Lives Matter’ Protesters In Chicago
There have been riots and protests throughout the country, in response to the death of George Floyd. Floyd died on May 25 after being pinned down on the neck by a police officer who knelt on his neck.
About a week ago, J Cole joined the protesters in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina marching towards the Fayetteville Police Department. And now, Kanye West is doing the same.
TMZ reported yesterday that Kanye West is giving a huge assist to the families and legal teams fighting for Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd and reportedly helping in other ways too.
The Billionaire donated $2 million, so far, to the cause and set up a 529 college savings fund to fully cover tuition for Floyd’s 6-year-old daughter, Gianna.
And just in time, a video surfaced that showed Kanye West out in his hometown of Chicago. The rapper wore a hoodie with his face covered as he walked alongside Windy City protesters supporting Black Lives Matter and calling for criminal justice reform and police accountability.
Kanye has earlier been called out on twitter for staying silent amid the protests and over his ties with Donald Trump.
Hopefully, with the new reports on his efforts, supporting Black Lives matter movement, people will start giving him credit for his stance on Black matters.
