Mannie Fresh Speaks On Upcoming Collaborative Album With Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne has been using his new “Young Money Radio” to touch many topics and it is arguably the most relevant and interactive online program at the moment. Just last week, he revealed who had the best verse on Jack Harlow’s “What’s Popping” remix.

Wayne’s longtime friend and producer Mannie Fresh was the guest on the most recent episode of his radio show where they hinted on a collaborative album they’re working on.

The veteran rapper revealed that his fans are always asking him when they will collaborate for an official album. The most interesting part was when Wayne called Mannie Fresh, who told the artist that he’s already got more than a handful of tracks put together for their upcoming joint project.

“That’s something the whole world has been asking for forever,” agreed Fresh with Weezy. Tunechi invited the producer over to his spot to come make some magic and Fresh told Wayne that he’s also welcome at his compound, affirming that he’s got enough room to skate around.

According to HotNewHipHop, the potential release date looks like 2021. “Before it’s over with, 2021, after this whole coronavirus bullshit, we will drop the album and it’s just gonna be solely me and him,” says Mannie Fresh about Lil Wayne.
