6ix9ine & Nicki Minaj’s “TROLLZ” Breaks YouTube Record With 46 Million Views

Whether you like it or not, Tekashi 6ix9ine is doing great numbers and he’s not slowing down. Just in time, he’s broken his own record for the most viewed YouTube Hip Hop music video in the first 24 hours with his recent smash hit “TROLLZ” featuring Nicki Minaj.

Tekashi 6ix9ine made a successful return to the music scene after spending couple of years in prison for racketeering and sexual assault charges.

Although he had to snitch in order to get a lightened sentence, many people wrote him off and he was disowned by Hip Hop heads. However, his return is arguably the biggest comeback we’ve seen in the history of Hip Hop.

About a month ago, 6ix9ine dropped “GOOBA” and its visuals broke Eminem’s YouTube record for the most viewed Hip Hop video in the first 24 hours with 43.55 million views.

Yesterday, 6ix9ine recruited is good friend and collaborator Nicki Minaj for another smash hit “TROLLZ” and immediately accompanied it with a colorful video that highlighted Nicki Minaj showing quite a bit of body. And there have been mixed reactions from the public and their fellow artists.

Nicki took to her Instagram page to post that the video for “Trollz” had “the most views in hip hop history in less than 24 hours.” She celebrated  the jaw dropping number in her caption to the post.

“Thank you for watching y’all 🙏 #TrollzVideo just broke the record for most views ever in 24 hours for a hip hop video. 🌈♥️🎀🎈🎉🥰 46 million & counting.”
