South Africans Cancel Tyrese Over False Narrative: #TyreseMustFall
Tyrese Is Cancelled In South Africa For Siding With White Racists
Popular actor Tyrese Gibson faced heavy backlash and was trending on social media this weekend, after he re-posted photos that originated on a racist White South African website.
South Africa, and its government, have been bombarded with propaganda circulated by White racists who claim that the country now forces Whites into a second class citizen role.
Those claims are laughably false, given that Whites still control most of the country’s wealth. But on Friday, Tyrese re-posted those racist claims on Instagram, saying that the African country is suffering from “reverse-racism”.
And then the ‘Fast and Furious’ star directed his 12 million Instagram followers to a video on Youtube called ‘Poor Whites / Rich Blacks’ along with a series of pictures showing subservient white people captioned, “This is what’s going on in South Africa.”
He was immediately faced with backlash as millions of South Africans began to dragging him. After being called out for spreading fake news, #Tyresemustfall began trending on South African Twitter and Tyrese eventually deleted the post.
But not before folks online took screenshots of the post.

No one misconstrued your statement & you were not inspired by anything. You lead millions of people to YouTube pages that are spreading false narratives & have the nerve to say “Controversy doesn’t scare me”. Your video is a load of “Sorry but I’m right”.
Infact fuck off @Tyrese

Tyrese quickly apologized for his disturbing post. But South Africans aren’t accepting it. As of this morning, he was still trending on Twitter:
