50 Cent Issues Apology To Megan After Joking About Her Shooting Involving Tory Lanez

Megan Thee Stallion‘s shooting involving Tory Lanez attracted lots of reactions from folks online, in both positive and negative ways. Megan confirmed that she was shot twice in the foot and was rushed to the hospital.

Although she never mentioned Tory as the shooter, all speculations lead back to the Canadian rapper as the man behind the trigger.

As usual, in this social media era where everything is taken with levity and turned into jokes, it didn’t take long before memes started circulating online, poking fun at the incident.

Couple of celebrities joined in the mockery of the shooting, including Cam’ron and 50 Cent. Cam insensitively made transphobic joke, referencing rumors that Megan Thee Stallion is a transgender, while Fif made savage memes about the shooting.

He was met with criticism from fans and surprisingly, 50 Cent took back to Instagram to apologize for the expensive joke. On Monday, 50 Cent shared a clip of Megan Thee Stallion’s IG Live and apologized for his behavior.

“Damn I didn’t think this sh*t was real,” the Power executive producer wrote in the caption. “It sounded so crazy @theestallion i’m glad your feeling better and i hope you can accept my apology. I posted a meme that was floating around. I wouldn’t have done that if i knew you was really hurt sorry.”
