Cops Now Investigating Tory Lanez Over Megan Thee Stallion’s Shooting As An Assault With Deadly Weapon

Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez have been hanging out together for a while now, even sparked dating rumors at a time. The weekend before Tory was arrested on a felony concealed weapon in a vehicle charge, the two had a fun time with Kylie Jenner at the pool.

Meg and Kylie were on Instagram live bumping Pop Smoke in the pool. Tory Lanez then popped up from out of nowhere to join in the fun.

However, things quickly turned out bad as Megan was rushed to the hospital after being shot at the foot night after the pool fun. She’s since released a statement on the shooting, and according to sources, Tory Lanez was the one who shot Megan.

According to new report from TMZ, the LAPD is officially looking at the shooting as an attack now. Cops believe that this is a case of assault with a deadly weapon but are not confident that this is attempted homicide.

Tory is yet to be named as a suspect, the outlet claims LAPD is looking hard into the possibility that Tory was the gunman in this incident, which would surely result in some hard time for him if charged.

The Toronto rapper has not addressed the controversy yet. Sources close to him claim that, if he is confirmed to be the shooter by the police, he will claim it was accidental.
