Meek Mill & Young Thug Defend James Harden Over “Blue Lives Matter” Face Mask Backlash

James Harden has been trending all day on Twitter after he was captured wearing a “Blue Lives Matter” face mask at the welcoming party to the NBA Bubble in Orlando, Florida. He’s since been getting dragged over it.

The official Rockets’ social media team shared a picture of the baller upon his arrival in Florida, wearing a mask over his face that was designed to show support for the police force. It is popular among “Blue Lives Matter” people.

Folks online have been criticizing James’ choice of attire, claiming they will never go to a Houston basketball game again, requesting for an apology from the team and Harden himself. With the situation of things, it’s safe to say that the post is insensitive.

However, the NBA all-star player still got supports from some people, including Meek Mill and Young Thug who took to Twitter to reveal their opinion on the matter.

“Just so u know James harden is my bread,” Thugger tweeted. “Btw he don’t have internet so he obviously don’t know what’s right or wrong if he posted something that’s against US…but I hate when rappers get in n***as biz like it’s can’t happen to em buster let n***as clear they shit up activist.”

Meek on the other hand, doubled down Young Thug tweet, “Y’all know damn well Jh don’t know what that mask meant because I don’t!  He donate millions in real life to our people! End of story,” the Philadelphia rapper wrote.
