Joe Budden Apologizes To Logic
Joe Budden Apologizes To Logic For Demeaning Remarks
Joe Budden has been verbally attacking Logic for a while now. He surely doesn’t hold the “No Pressure” rapper in a high regard and doesn’t hold back in letting it known. Budden once said ‘Logic is one of the worst rappers to ever grace a mic.’
The podcaster tore Logic during last week’s episode of his podcast show, blasting him for his decision to retire. “Logic, you don’t get to announce this,” Budden said. “What the fuck is he talking about? ‘Cause we don’t care.”
And when one of his co-hosts said that a lot of people actually care that Logic has decided to call it quits, Joe Budden shut down the claim. “No, they don’t,” he exclaimed. “They happy that he’s leaving. Why you think I got the celebration song queued up? You should’ve retired a long time ago, Logic. We don’t have to listen to him.”
However, on the recent episode of ‘The Joe Budden Podcast”, he seemingly reflected on his hurtful words towards the rapper and given the fact that Logic didn’t respond to the shade, Joe must have felt bad and has decided to apologize.
“Logic I’m sorry man,” Joe said, queuing up the Antia Franklin to emphasize his olive branch. “Lodge, let me tell you what happened.” When co-host Rory belittles his abbreviation choice, Budden defends his position.
“When you talking to him with humility, you say a cool name,” he explains. “To let him know you’re gracious. Lodge. Last week I came in here feeling pretty tumultuous. Fresh out of Twitter jail, unable to properly read the room. And just hating myself and life, honestly. Unfortunately, I projected some of that onto you Lodge. And for that, I want to apologize.”
He continued, “That was wrong of me. I should be able to think that you aren’t the best rapper in the world, but celebrate your retirement. Because that is a time when somebody should be happy and look back on their career and get shit off and be with their fans. Nobody wants to hear from this old grumpy fuck saying fuck you. Especially after that guy was allowed to retire peacefully. I felt bad.”
Budden also congratulated Logic on his new Twitch deal. “I’m proud of him, it makes all the sense in the world,” praises Joe. “It was quick, announcing the retirement and having this in the tuck. Logic, congratulations, I hope your entire retirement.”
