Lil Wayne Hints At The Release Of “Tha Carter VI”

About a week ago, Lil Wayne and producer Mannie Fresh had an interesting conversation on the ‘Young Money Radio’ show, where they hinted on a collaborative album they’re working on. Wayne revealed that his fans are always asking him when they will collaborate for an official album.

The two then hinted at a collaborative project, Wayne called Mannie Fresh, who told the artist that he’s already got more than a handful of tracks put together for their upcoming joint project.

Apparently, ‘Tha Carter VI’ would drop before the supposed collaborative album. In a recent interview with Variety, Wayne spoke about his new Apple Music show, Young Money Radio, which kicked off during quarantine and has proven to be a major success.

“It means a lot to [me] to have such a platform, but the unique fact of it is how meaningful it can be for others,” he said. “You never know who you’re reaching, so you reach for the stars and hope whoever you’re reaching can do the same.”

However, when he was later asked which album in Tha Carter series is his personal favourite, to which he responded, “My favorite Carter album is the next one.“
