Pop Smoke’s First Week Album Sales Are In
Pop Smoke’s “Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon” Album Sales Surpassed Expectations
Pop Smoke‘s posthumous album ‘Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon’ dropped last week Friday. The 19 tracks album features cameos including Quavo, Lil Baby, DaBaby, 50 Cent, Roddy Ricch, Future, Swae Lee and more.
The body of work is a quick reminder of how Pop was already popping, getting close to stardom before robbers took his life untimely. Leaving fans in mixed feelings while bumping the album.
We reported earlier that the album is projected to debut at the top of the charts, marking Pop’s first No. 1 album. His previous project Meet The Woo 2 moved 36K and debuted at No. 7.
Hits Daily Double revealed that Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon is expected to push between 175K-195K album equivalent units, of which 27-30k are set to be from pure sales.
But it turns out that “Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon” which was executively produced by 50 Cent did much more than that. According to DJ Akademiks on Twitter, Pop Smoke officially sold a whopping 250,000 units during the album’s first week of streaming.
May his soul continue to rest in peace !
