The Timbaland and Swizz Beats anchored “Versuz” battle has been keeping us entertained for months now. The Instagram live battle has artists going head to head with their catalogues and it’s been a remarkable experience.
Snoop Dogg and DMX are the next to go lock it down and it probably will break the internet as the two rap legends have lots of classic songs in their vault.
We’ve witnessed some previous interesting battles from different artists in various genres including Fabolous, Jadakiss, Teddy Riley, Babyface, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Jagged Edge, 112, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Nelly, Ludacris, T-Pain, Lil Jon, Jill Scott, and Erykah Badu and many more.
Initially, DMX revealed that if he was to battle anyone on IG live, it would be no other one but Jay Z. Snoop Dogg has also revealed that he wanted to battle Jay. “Biggie passed away, then Nas had it for a minute and then Jay Z took it and ran with it for a numerous amount of years,” Snoop told Fat Joe on Instagram Live.
But neither of them is getting the Roc Nation boss. However, it’s safe to say a Snoop Dogg and DMX Versuz is a great pairing and would be one of the best battles.

Snoop has The Chronic and Doggystyle, which are both in the top 10 rap albums of all time, but I don’t know whether that’s gonna cut it for a whole verzuz. His catalog of music overall is pretty hit and miss, for every No Limit Topp Dogg there’s a Reincarnated.
