Terry Crews Starts Another Controversial Debate With “Defund Pornhub” Tweet

Terry Crews has been making headlines with his controversial takes on issues. The prolific actor was almost cancelled following his “Black Lives Better” tweet some weeks ago.

The ‘America’s Got Talent’ host is at it again.. and this time he’s going after the pornography industry, targeting the giant platform “Pornhub”.

On Tuesday, Terry Crews stirred up another debate on Twitter, but this time he took aim at the adult industry when he tweeted “DEFUND PORNHUB @FightTheNewDrug.”

It’s not surprising that Terry only mentioned the one p*rn outlet, considering the fact that Pornhub is a leader in the adult website game, and a controversial one at that. The organization Crews tagged, Fight The New Drug, decided to educate the public about its goals following Crews’s co-sign and wrote:

“We’re a non-religious & non-legislative organization that exists to provide individuals the opportunity to make an informed decision regarding pornography by raising awareness on its harmful effects using only science, facts, and personal accounts.”

There have been mixed reactions to the tweet, some are in support while others are not buying the idea. “Terry Crews could have gone after Pornhub for hosting child porn and other rape tapes despite people having tried to get them taken down. But no, he decided to go after them because “porn is evil,” a Twitter user wrote.

“Dude, no. Masturbation is healthy, self love is healthy. PornHub gives safe platforms to sex workers–to say nothing of the artists who got kicked off Tumblr–and generates revenue for them. Are there issues with the industry? Absolutely. Is going after PornHub the answer? No,” another user replied.
