Master P Says J Cole Has Been Seriously Training For The NBA
J Cole Has Been Reportedly Training For NBA Career
J Cole is reportedly planning on pursing a career in the NBA. The Dreamville honcho used to be a solid hooper back in high school and famously tried out for St. Johns during his stint in college, but eventually decided to focus on rap.
Jermaine now thinks it’s high time he showed the world he’s a great baller. Cole has been training hard in hopes of getting a chance in the NBA and flex his versatility.
J Cole and Master P recently unveiled their new commercials for Puma Basketball, where P plays the voice in Cole’s head on the court. But Master P’s motivational speech apparently extended off-camera as well.

Master P is arguably the only rapper to have a successful run in the NBA. Although P never won a championship, he played for the Hornets and the Raptors during their pre-season. We’ll see what will become of Cole when he eventually commence an NBA career.
Master revealed during a recent interview with TMZ, that J Cole is also planning on treading the same path. He says Cole has been seriously training to kick start an NBA career.
“I talked to J. Cole, he was like ‘You know, big dawg you did it. What do you think I would have to do to make it happen?’ I said to get one of these NBA jerseys, it’s not gonna be easy.
“It’s gonna be a lot of hate, it’s gonna be a lot of people not believing in you but you know J. Cole — he got the right size, he in the gym,” P said.
“They’ve been putting their whole life into this. So, you’re gonna have to prove you’re worthy of being on that court. I believe in him and I believe that he’s a youngster that has a lot of desire.”
