Kelly Rowland Tells Cancel Culture To Stop Trying To Be God: “Spread Love & Positivity”

Kelly Rowland has shared her fair take on the cancel culture that seems to have a quick way of getting offended with celebrities at the slightest mistake. And she’s reminding them not to judge others.

We’ve seen cancel culture try to end some of our favorites and companies for perceived incompetency. In recent times, the likes of J Cole, Doja Cat, Terry Crews, Kanye West and more have felt the wrath of cancel culture.

Cancel culture refers to the popular practice of withdrawing support for public figures and companies after they have done or said something considered objectionable or offensive. Cancel culture is generally discussed as being performed on social media in the form of group shaming.

Some elites on social media have termed the cancel culture as “fake woke” people. While it’s a good thing to check these celebrities, it’s much important to note that they’re humans too and are bound to make mistakes.

Reacting to the movement, Kelly Rowland took to Instagram to offer some words of wisdom. “In this ‘cancel culture’ we live in,  I am SO grateful God NEVER canceled me, And I’m sure he could’ve many-a-times!” Kelly wrote.

“Let us always TRY to remember NOT to judge others. We HONESTLY don’t have the space nor authority too! Let us remember to lead With love & kindness, the world is has enough negativity, for you to pour more into it! #STOPTRYINTOBEGOD”

She continued, “So what light are you bringing into the world? Please share it with me in the comments below.” What prompted the singer to share the message is only known to her.
