Lil Durk Addresses “Rat” Lyric In Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later”
Lil Durk Addresses Rumors That His “Rat” Lyric Was About 6ix9ine
Obviously, there is some sort of tension between Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lil Durk. The two won’t likely collaborate in the nearest future. Durkio has made it clear that he wouldn’t be working with 6ix9ine.
The self acclaimed voice of the trenches says he can’t associate with 6ix9ine anytime soon because he would feel as if he would have to look over his shoulder.
Their feud was seemingly reignited on Drake’s new song “Laugh Now Cry Later” which also happens to be the first track off Drizzy’s upcoming album “Certified Lover Boy”. On the track, Drake and Durk are believed to have dissed their rivals Kanye West and 6ix9ine.
“I’m in the trenches, relax / Can you not play that lil’ boy in the club? ‘Cause we do not listen to rats,” Durkio rapped on “Laugh Now Cry Later.”
The rapper has now doubled down on the lyrics, he told Power 106, “Whoever make music and rat, I’m talking to you. It can be one person, two people, three people, I’m talking to your ass.” If the shoe fits, “wear it. ‘Cause yo ass is not gettin’ played in the club where I am.”
