Kanye West Says He Interrupted Taylor Swift’s VMAs Speech Because God Told Him To Do It

Kanye West is currently trending on Twitter after he claimed God told him to step on stage and snatch Taylor Swift’s microphone, interrupting her MTV VMAs speech in 2009.

Kanye couldn’t understand how Taylor Swift could win over Beyoncé and during a recent interview with Nick Cannon, blamed it all on the almighty power.

“If God ain’t want me to run on stage and say Beyoncé had the best video, he wouldn’t have sat me in the front row. I woulda been sitting in the back,” the rapper begins.

Taylor Swift dropped her latest album ‘Folklore’ last month, and she unsurprisingly dissed Kanye on the project, subliminally calling him a clown.
