6ix9ine Subliminally Shades Nicki Minaj For Not Having Solo #1 Song
Tekashi 6ix9ine Says He Loves Nicki Minaj To Death But ‘Trollz’ Is His Record Not Hers
Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s antics is gradually getting out of hand, he’s been feuding with several rappers since his prison release. Recently, he subliminally dissed Drake for wearing a bulletproof vest and having security while in Chicago.
69 asked why people don’t have the same ‘he’s scared’ energy for Drake. “Nobody say he scared. Why he have security?… but the moment Tekashi rolls around with security [and] no bulletproof vest, oh he’s scared.”
He’d earlier attempted to troll Lil Durk by saying his “Laugh Now Cry Later” collaboration was only a hit because it was Drake’s song and Durk clapped back saying, “Trollz” only topped the charts because of Nicki Minaj.
However, during a recent interview with Billboard, 6ix9ine was asked about the shots tirade with Lil Durk and the rapper decided to shed more light, subliminally shading Nicki Minaj for not having solo number one single.
“I love that girl to death. When has Nicki ever had a No. 1 ’til this day?” the rapper asked. The interviewer quickly said, “Say So,” mentioning the remix to Doja Cat’s record. “No, no no… I love Nicki. That’s my sister. I love her to death. Give me a Nicki single that’s been No. 1. Her record.”
The interviewer admits that Nicki Minaj doesn’t have a solo No. 1 song. 69 then set things straight and added, “That’s my record.”
