21 Savage & Metro Boomin’s “Savage Mode II” Debuts At #1 On Billboard Top 200
21 Savage and Metro Boomin‘s new album has marked a new feat for the duo. The highly anticipated album dropped a week ago and has since been making waves. ‘Savage Mode 2’ debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200. Moving 172K in its first week.
Acccording to Charts Data, 22K of those are from merchandise/album bundles, the pair both scored their second number one debuts, and fourth top 10 debuts, in their career.
YG’s My Life 4Hunnid debuts at #4, marking his highest-charting album since My Krazy Life. Bryson Tiller’s ‘ANNIVERSARY’ rounds out the top 5. He moved 57K in his first week with 52K of those coming from streams, 4K in sales, and 1K in TEA.

21 Savage’s i am > i was was a massive commercial success that propelled to #1. Metro’s Not All Heroes Wear Capes also debuted at #1 in 2018.
Savage Mode was released as an EP in 2016 and featured the breakout singles “No Heart” and “X” featuring Future. Fans waited patiently for the sequel, which was teased for over a year, and even petitioned for, before officially being announced last week.
The sequel features 15 songs with guest appearances from Drake, Young Thug and Young Nudy. Actor Morgan Freeman also plays a prominent role on the project as he narrates the trailer and part of the album.
