Former President Obama Gets Three Pointer In A Basketball Court: ‘That’s What I Do’
Barack Obama has always expressed his profound interest in music, sharing his playlists time to time. He also has a keen interest in sports, specifically basketball where he proved to be quite proficient.
Last month, the former President sent a congratulatory message to the NBA icon. Obama took to Twitter with a nice message for LeBron that spoke about his accomplishments both on and off of the court.
“Proud of my friend @KingJames for his fourth title, fourth Finals MVP, and for not only living up to the hype after seventeen seasons,” Obama wrote. He continued, “But surpassing it as an extraordinary leader both on the court and in the public arena fighting for education, social justice, and our democracy,” President Obama wrote.
On Saturday, Obama proved he’s still skillful with the ball. He was joined by Joe Biden in Michigan where the former Vice President was looking to campaign prior to the election on Tuesday.
In the clip currently making rounds online, Obama was in a gym with Biden and decided to get a three-pointer off. President Obama sunk the shot and as he walked away, proclaimed “that’s what I do.”
“Get out there and vote, and then get two other folks to join you. It’s like draining a three for democracy,” Obama captioned the clip on Twitter.
He’s since been getting praises from folks on social media. Watch the clip below and see some reactions to Obama’s proficiency:

Barack Obama throwing a basketball through a hoop from a distance and then walking off court as if it was nothing at all.
Effortlessly cool.

Mr President, this is an awful example for today’s youth, because basketball is not a physical sport. As a youth football coaching legend, I forbid my players from even thinking about basketball.
