Sheck Wes Failed To Get Drafted In The NBA – Now Working Towards Next Year’s
Sheck Wes declared for the draft, revealing that his dream was about to come true. The “Mo Bamba” rapper took to Instagram yesterday to announce that he is officially eligible for the 2020 NBA Draft.
“Damn… it’s really real, The 2020 NBA DRAFT,” he writes, alongside a slideshow of him putting in work on the court.
“All my life I always wanted to follow my passion for music and basketball. Playing basketball and going to play pro in the @nba is something that I always strived for. Tonight that dream comes true!”

Unfortunately, as each draft pick was called out, fans of the New York rapper were hoping to hear his name but, at the end of the night, Sheck Wes failed to get drafted into the NBA.
Despite the disappointment, he’s not tripping about all thirty teams passing him over, focusing on next year and promising to be back in due time.
“29 TEAMS WILL REGRET THIS NIGHT. BACK TO THE GYM. BEEN BALLIN,” wrote Sheck Wes on social media, releasing his new song to document his journey.
