Instagram Addresses The “Nah He Tweakin’” Spam Comments: “We’ve Resolved This Issue”

Something strange happened on Instagram Wednesday. The social media platform was flooded with spam comments that read “Nah he tweakin” or “Nah she tweakin,” which left many people very confused.

While most thought their account had been compromised, it appeared almost everyone had the same problem.

Instagram is now speaking out on the weird activity, letting users know that it has since been resolved. In one Tweet, Instagram said, “Yeah we tweakin, but only a little bit. We’re aware that some people are having issues loading their comments (we’re fixing that) and that some are seeing a bunch of comments saying “Nah he tweakin” (what is that?). More soon!” In a follow-up tweet, IG said, “Some people experienced trouble loading comments on Instagram (except, it appears, for “Nah he tweakin” ). We’ve resolved this issue and all comments should now be back.”

Now, Instagram didn’t reveal the exact reason as to what caused the spam or how and why it even happened. Over all, users are just happy to have their normal comment section back.
