Man Shot Dead For Breaking Up Teenage Girls Fight

A 30 year old man was shot and killed on Instagram Live, while trying to break up a fight between his girlfriend and a group of teenage girls.

The Portland Police Bureau identified 30-year-old Jonathon “Johnny” Polanco as the person who was killed in a shooting in the Portland, Oregon on Friday night.

According to police, who spoke with the media, Johnny was critically injured in a shooting in the Lents neighborhood on Friday has died. And the incident was captured on video and live-streamed on Instagram Live.

The shaky video shows a group of people fighting on a sidewalk outside of a business. At one point, others to the side shout for the attack to stop.

Then the video turns to another person standing in a parking lot in front who aims a gun and shoots into the skirmish, appearing to strike a person in the head.

Detectives said they are aware of a video circulating on social media that shows the murder of Polanco. They are asking anyone who knows the identity of the people in the video to contact them.

Authorities added that they would also like to talk with the person who recorded the video. Watch the video below:
