Pink’s Dad, Jim Moore, Dies After Cancer Battle

Socialites, let’s take a moment to send prayers and our condolences to Pink who is currently mourning the loss of her father, Jim Moore.

Page Six confirmed the heartbreaking news this Friday morning.

The singer also took to Instagram writing alongside a photo of her and her father sharing a dance. She captioned the picture, “Til forever.”

The day before Jim’s death, Pink shared a photo of them performing “I Have Seen the Rain” in New York City in April 2006. She captioned the post, “Daddy-Sir.” Jim wrote the ballad while serving overseas in Vietnam, Page Six notes.

In July 2020, Pink – real name Alecia Beth Moore – revealed her father had prostate cancer. While details on his passing haven’t been shared yet, fans have been flooding her comment section with messages and condolences.

One fan wrote under her Instagram comments, “So sorry for your loss. I hope your strength gets you through this.” Another said, “Thinking of you & sending all our love. You’ve been here for us now we are all here for you, forever.”

As the outlet reports, Jim is survived by his wife, Grace Lilleg Moore and his children, Pink and Jason Moore alongbwith several grandchildren including Pink’s daughter, Willow, 10, and son, Jameson, 4.
