Chicago Mom Shot & Killed 12 Year Old Son Over Missing Memory Card – Video
12-Year-Old Boy Was Shot In The Head By Mother Over Memory Card
Prosecutors claims a Chicago mom fatally shot her 12-year-old son in the head on Saturday morning over a missing memory card.
Fallon Harris, 37, was charged with first-degree murder following the death of her son, Kaden Ingram, at their South Chicago home.
When police arrived at the scene Kaden was found unresponsive on the kitchen floor with multiple bullet wounds to his head. According to prosecutors, the situation went left when Kaden explained to his mom he didn’t know where a memory card was. Harris then allegedly pointed the gun at her son and fired a shot to his head.
Attorney Eugene Wood has shared that audio evidence recouped from the home’s security system reflected that the first gunshot left the 12-year-old boy “conscious and crying.”
According to documents as the boy was on the floor crying for help, Harris took a phone call, then continued to ask him about the whereabouts of this memory card again. He explained once again that he didn’t know and then the mother fired off another shot into the 12-year-old boy’s head.
Investigators got in contact with the boys father. The father claims there have always been concerns about her mental health.
“We didn’t know that this was going to transpire,” the boy’s dad told the paper. “We had told her to get help. I guess it finally reached its boiling point… She loved [Kaden] more than anything in the world.”
If she is found guilty of this crime she will be sentenced to life in prison.
