Kodak Black Reportedly Donates $20K To Daughter Of Cop Who Died From COVID-19

Kodak Black has been giving back to the community for a while now. Although the rapper was recently sent a cease and desist letter by Florida Housing Project for giving residents free AC units, that hasn’t stopped him from continuing his charity work.

Kodak Black is ensuring that the young daughter of a cop who recently passed away from Coronavirus is able to go to college in the future.

Fort Lauderdale police officer passed away after getting COVID-19. She left behind her 2-year-old daughter. Kodak saw the story and decided to step in by donating $20,000 in a college fund for the girl.

Kodak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, spoke to TMZ to reveal that Kodak had seen a news story about the officer and told his lawyer to make sure her child was straight, “Make sure that kid is straight. Pay for her college fund.”

The rapper’s attorney revealed that Kodak also caught COVID-19 a few months ago and suffered from body aches, headaches and difficulty breathing for 10 days. Luckily, he made it through but he felt obligated to help the officer’s family.

The Fort Lauderdale Fraternal Order of Police spoke to TMZ following the generous donation, adding that they are “grateful to everyone who has donated to the Sepot family in memory of Jennifer.”

“Her loss has had an immeasurable and lasting impact on our officers. The generosity by supporters has offered a degree of hope during a time in which support for law enforcement feels to be a waning movement.”
