Nicki Minaj Says She’s Been Put In ‘Twitter Jail’ Over COVID Tweets – Twitter Denies
Twitter Denies Suspending Nicki Minaj Over COVID-19 Tweets
Nicki Minaj made headlines after she revealed earlier this week that she tested positive for COVID-19 and was not able to attend the VMAs or Met Gala. The rapper noted she wouldn’t take it until she’s done enough research and feels comfortable enough to do so.
According to Nicki, her cousin’s friend in Trinidad became impotent and had swollen testicles after taking the vaccine.
On Wednesday, Onika told her Instagram followers that she has been put in “Twitter jail” and will possibly never use Twitter again following backlash over her COVID vaccine tweets. But, Twitter has now denied taking hitting back and denying that it took any action against her account.
“I’m in Twitter jail y’all,” the rap star explained on Instagram.
“They didn’t like what I was saying over there on that block, I guess my poll was gonna be asking questions is OK I like being fkng dumb then boom. Can’t tweet.”
Twitter said publicly that her controversial tweets did not violate their rules at all. The social media company told Vulture, “Twitter did not take any enforcement action on the account referenced.”
Nicki also doubled down that she was indeed invited to the White House to discuss her coronavirus vaccine hesitancy after an official said it was just a phone call.
