Tory Lanez Allegedly Discussing Plea Deal In Megan Thee Stallion Case

After a dramatic back and forth, Tory Lanez is reportedly getting ready to move on from the controversial case involving with Megan Thee Stallion where he is accused of allegedly shooting her.

According to Rolling Stone, the Los Angeles prosecutors revealed on Thursday (September 23) that both parties are in discussions to strike a plea deal.

“We’re in possible settlement discussions,” Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Kathy Ta said to the publication. However, if a deal is not made by November, the trial can go ahead as planned.

“As in every case, the lawyers for the parties discuss the possibility of resolving the case,” Lanez’s attorney Shawn Holley said. “This case is no different. That said, our position as to what did and did not happen in this matter remains unchanged, and Mr. Peterson’s plea of not guilty stands.”

Tory is currently facing one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. The D.A. also notes that he allegedly inflicted great bodily injury on Megan.

The Canadian rapper is free after posting $190,000 bail and has been ordered to stay away from the Stallion. He could face up to 22 years if he is convicted.

The state is investigating whether Tory violated his order by taking the case to social media.
