29 Year Old Alabama Woman Found Dead In The Back Of Old Police Van

29-year old Christina Nance was found dead in the back of an empty police van in Huntsville, AL and her family wants answers.

Nance was found dead in an empty old Huntsville Police van out the police department’s headquarters after being reported missing for two weeks.

The family of Nance is asking the Huntsville police department to release the security footage from the night she went missing to determine what happened to her. The Huntsville Police Department claims they don’t know what happened to Nance or how she ended up in the van, but the family is not taking no for an answer.

“We really don’t know how our relative’s body was found inside a police van on police property, and we need some justice,” Frank Matthews, a cousin of the Nances, said Sunday. “We need some clarity, and Christina cannot speak for herself.”

The Nance family also says they don’t know how long Christina’s body was in the van before she was discovered. According to Newsweek, the family says they know that there sister would “randomly walk into an empty van” on her own. The police department says they believe that no foul play was involved in Christina’s death, but the Nance family is still questioning how she got into the van in the first place.

HPD will conduct an official autopsy to determine the cause of death, but depending on the results, the Nance family will conduct their own autopsy is needed.
