Bill Clinton Has Been Released From Hospital After Receiving Treatment For E.Coli Infection
Former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, was released from a California hospital on Sunday after undergoing treatment for a urological infection unrelated to COVID-19.
Clinton,75, received treatment at the Irvine Medical Center and was released a few days after he sustained a sepsis infection from e.Coli.
According to the New York Post, Dr. Alpesh N. Amin said the former President will be sent home and finish the rest of his antibiotic treatment.
“His fever and white blood cell count are normalized and he will return home to New York to finish his course of antibiotics. On behalf of everyone at UC Irvine Medical Center, we were honored to have treated him and will continue to monitor his progress.”
Clinton spokesman Angel Ureña said in a statement that he’s in good spirits and has been spending time with his family along with making great progress.
“He is deeply grateful for the excellent care he continues to receive and thankful for the many well-wishers who have sent kind words to him and his family. He’s looking forward to getting home very soon.”
