Man Commits Suicide By Cop After Killing & Assaulting Couple Who Had Threesome With His Girlfriend

A threesome gone wrong ended with assault, rape, and two people dead. 14News reports that the bizarre incident took place in Evansville, Indiana and that one woman is behind bars.

Court documents allege that Heidi Carter 36, met a couple on a dating app and invited them over for a threesome. But her boyfriend, Carey Hammond, came home and caught them all and flew into a rage.

He beat all three with a baseball bat and then tied up the couple. Hammond then raped the woman several times and when the man tried to escape, he strangled him to death. Carter helped him hide the body under some laundry.

Then on Tuesday, a maid came over and heard a woman crying for help, and then found the corpse. She managed to escape and tell the police, who raced to the home.

Hammond was outside when they arrived, holding what looked like a gun. Sergeant Anna Gray with the Evansville Police Department said authorities believe he committed suicide by cop. They were able to rescue his shackled girlfriend.

Carter was charged with murder, rape, confinement, abuse of a corpse, assisting a criminal, and carrying a handgun without a license.
