Multiple Injured, One Dead Following Minnesota Bar Shooting

Multiple people have been injured, and one victim has died following a mass shooting at a crowded Minnesota bar on Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a “hellish situation” when they arrived at the Seventh Street Truck Park bar in St. Paul at 12:15 a.m., to multiple gunshot victims and the report of a deceased woman.

Investigators note that there were several shooters, but the current motive is not clear.

“My heart breaks for the woman who was killed, her loved ones and everyone else who was in that bar this morning,” Saint Paul Chief of Police Todd Axtell said in a Sunday statement.

“In an instant, they found themselves caught in a hellish situation. I want them to know that we have the best investigators in the country, and we won’t stop until we find the people responsible for this madness. We will do our part to hold them accountable.”

Fourteen people were taken to the hospital, and the woman in her 20s died at the scene. The injured victims are expected to make a full recovery.
