Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty’s Rape Victim Files Default Motions Against Them For Not Responding To The Lawsuit

Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty are facing more legal problems. The couple is currently in a lawsuit with Jennifer Hough, the woman who accused Minaj’s husband of rape back in 1994.

As we previously reported, Hough filed a lawsuit in August, accusing Petty of “intimidating” her while claiming Minaj also “harassed” and “threatened” “Plaintiff [Hough] to recant her legitimate claim that Defendant Petty raped her.”

Both Petty and Hough were 16 and living in Jamaica, Queens at the time of the incident. Petty was initially charged with first-degree rape. He denied the rape charges but subsequently pleaded guilty to attempted rape, and spent over four years in prison.

According to the latest update in their case, Hough has filed default motions against them for not responding to the lawsuit.

The judgment could be $15M against them. In a request to Douglas Palmer of U.S. District Court – Eastern District of New York, Hough’s attorney Tyrone A Blackburn asks to “please enter the default of defendants Onika Tanya Maraj, and Kenneth Petty, AKA Zoo, pursuant to Rule 55(a) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for failure to plead or otherwise defend this action as fully appears from the court file herein and from the attached affirmation of Tyrone A. Blackburn, Esq.”

Documents previously confirmed the Petty’s were served on Sept. 13. The couple was given 21 days from that date to respond to the complaint or face default judgment, which now appears to be the route they’re heading in.
