Florida Man Fatally Stabs Co-Worker Who Didn’t Want To Date Him

A Miami Beach man was arrested after he fatally stabbed a female co-worker who didn’t want to date him.

Agustin Lucas Mariani,20, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder for the death of Delfina Pan. Miami Beach Police said Mariani fatally stabbed Pan in front of her apartment Monday night after he waited for her to come home.

Mariani reportedly wanted to talk to Pan outside but she refused, leading him to stab her several times. Afterward, he stabbed himself in the chest but the injury was non-fatal.

Mariani and Pan worked at the Kansas Bar & Grill restaurant and police added that a knife was missing from the establishment. Other workers from the restaurant said Mariani was very quiet and kept to himself most of the time.

On the day of the stabbing, Pan left work early and Mariani followed her even though he was scheduled to work a double shift.

Pan moved from Argentina after graduating college in 2016. Her friends said she worked as a graphic designer before moving to the United States two years ago.

Police said Mariani has yet to release a statement regarding the crime and has remained silent since his arrest.
