Proud Boys Members Are Holding An Armed ‘Kyle Rittenhouse Appreciation’ Rally

Proud Boys members are planning an armed “Kyle Rittenhouse Appreciation” rally in Utah on Saturday afternoon, according to Yahoo News.

According to the flyer the, “Stand Up For Your Constitutional Rights” event —will be held at Washington Square Park in Salt Lake City between noon and 2 p.m. and is also sponsored by other similar groups in the area, according to the report.

A flyer of the event collected by the outlet instructs attendees to ” bring banners, 2A flags and freedom flags” and to celebrate “your rights to DEFEND YOUR CITIES.”

The Proud Boys are established as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center and partners with the pro-Trump mob that raged the US Capitol building on January 6.

As we previously reported, Last month, Rittenhouse, who announced he acted in self-defense, was found not guilty of charges in relation to fatally shooting two men and injuring a third with an AR-15 rifle during a BLM protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2020.

In a recent interview, Rittenhouse shared he was “set up” by his old attorney for blending the meeting where he was sighted with a member of the Proud Boys.
