California Mom Claims School District Pushed Daughter To Become A Boy

A California mom is speaking out and demanding damages from the Spreckels Union School District after teachers allegedly persuaded her daughter into trying to change genders and hide from her mother’s actions to change her pronouns and name.

“It made me extremely angry, and now I’m taking action for that,” mother Jessica Konen expressed to “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday. “I’m going to make sure that this doesn’t happen anymore.” 

Konen’s daughter has been home to another school district, according to the legal complaint documented last week.

In leaked audio, teachers from the school were recorded talking to a California Teachers Association conference titled “2021 LGBTQ+ Issues Conference, Beyond the Binary: Identity & Imagining Possibilities” where, in part of the conference, teachers discussed how to run Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs in what was being called “conservative communities.”

The teacher reportedly accused Konen of not being “emotionally supportive” of her child, who was being pertained to with male pronouns and a new name.

Konen told The Epoch Times the teacher was acting in a “mean-spirited” way towards her and she felt like the teacher had “completely coached” her child.

“It made me feel very, very small as a parent. I was unaware of anything. Not one time had she mentioned to me ‘Oh, I think that I want to change my name,’ or ‘I’m transgender’ or anything. Nothing. I only heard bisexual one time, and that was it,” Konen reportedly said.
