Suspect Accused Of Setting Pregnant Girlfriend On Fire Released On $5,000 Bond

A man accused of pouring gasoline on his pregnant girlfriend and lighting her on fire has received bond in Detroit, Michigan.

Fox News detailed that Devonne Marsh posted a $5,000 bond and walked out of jail after only just two days in jail for allegedly lighting his girlfriend on fire, who is 6 and a half months pregnant with twins.

According to reports she received burns on over 60% of her body.

Marsh, 41, was released on bond with various conditions including being banned from doing drugs or going back to the scene of the crime.

Marsh’s bond was put at $50,000, indicating he only had to post 10% to be released.




Marsh’s girlfriend, 26, continues to be  hospitalized in critical condition, and it is uncertain whether the babies will live.
