Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Faces Cancel Culture After Supporting Joe Rogan
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Under Fire Over Support For Joe Rogan
This weekend, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson got himself into some pretty serious trouble. The Rock was forced to backtrack on his previous support of Joe Rogan after video clips resurfaced of the podcaster using the N-word on multiple occasions.
Rogan has been facing criticism for spreading misinformation about COVID-19 on his podcast, as multiple artists, including Neil Young and Joni Mitchell, asked to remove their music from Spotify over it.
Initially The Rock supported Joe Rogan – and that angered people on the left.

On Thursday, singer India Arie shared multiple clips of Rogan using the N-word in his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” and said she planned to remove her music from Spotify because of his “language around race.”
The Rock then walked back his support of Rogan while responding to a tweet from author Don Winslow highlighting the podcaster’s “racist statements.”
Now The Rock’s enemies on the left and the right are teaming up and trying to get him cancelled. They are digging up old tweets by The Rock – and trying to get him in trouble.
See some reactions below:
lol “@TheRock” is deleting dodgy tweets.
He wanted to judge others and now he’s going to see how far that gets him.
A lot of really bad stuff about him has been sent my way.
And I’m not only person receiving information.
Sleep well, DJ.

Wow, @TheRock, you can’t just try to quietly delete transphobic attacks without giving a groveling apology and expect to ever work in Hollywood again.
Do @UnderArmour, @Ford, @Apple, @Netflix and the rest of his sponsors/partners agree with this hateful rhetoric? pic.twitter.com/tkS0jpv5gw
