Insecure & Family Reunion Actress Goes Missing After Mom Leaves Bizarre Post On IG

Jaida Benjamin, 27, the actress who played Kelly in the Netflix sitcom Family Reunion has been missing since she was last seen in Los Angeles on February 19.

She was reported missing after a released statement from her mom and manager JoCinda Benjamin.

And despite police search efforts, it’s still a mystery – no one knows exactly what happened to Jaida or whether she’s still alive. Just weeks before the disappearance, Jaida’s mom JoCinda shared an eerily accurate post about mothers losing their children.

She appears to have made the post in response to Regina King’s devastating loss of her son. JoCinda posted a quote from an unknown source saying: “I cannot think of anyone stronger than a mother who has lost her child and still breathes.”

“To lose a child mentally, physically or emotionally is too much for any parent to bear.”

Less than two weeks later, JoCinda shared a picture of her and Jaida smiling together and announced that the pair would be taking a break from the entertainment industry.

“In light of the recent tragic news of multiple suicides, combined with our own mental health concerns, Jaida and I have decided to take a much needed hiatus from the entertainment industry,” the post reads.

Days later, Jaida went missing.

Jaida, who played Kelly on Family Reunion, was last seen on Ventura Boulevard, in the San Fernando Valley. If anyone has any knowledge of her whereabouts, please contact the Los Angeles Police Department.

“Never thought I’d ever have to make this type of post. My baby is missing please help me find her. I can’t breathe,” JoCinda wrote on Instagram adding heartbreak emoji.
