Joe Rogan’s Spotify Deal Was Reportedly Worth $200M
Spotify Reportedly Paid Joe Rogan $200 Million For “The Joe Rogan Experience” Podcast
According to a new report, Joe Rogan’s deal with Spotify was worth $200 million, double the amount originally reported.
Here’s what The New York Times is reporting:
Dustee Jenkins, a spokeswoman for the company, declined to comment on the terms of Mr. Rogan’s deal. Representatives of Mr. Rogan did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Even in the frothy podcast market, the deal for “The Joe Rogan Experience” was extraordinary. Spotify had purchased entire content companies, Gimlet Media and The Ringer, for slightly less than $200 million each, according to company filings.
Spotify has come under pressure to get rid of Rogan after he reportedly spread COVID-19 misinformation and a video of him repeatedly using the n-word went viral.
“The Joe Rogan Experience” is Spotify’s biggest podcast not only in the United States but in 92 other markets, the new outlet reports. Spotify has refused to drop him from its platform even though several artists removed their music.
