Mexican Woman Found Dead In Her Vehicle After Going On A Date With American Man

A Mexican woman who was reported missing after she went on a date with an American man has been found dead in her car trunk.

25-year-old Elizabeth Martinez Cigarroa was found naked and unresponsive in the trunk of her Jeep Liberty three days after she went on a date with an American man in Tijuana, Mexico.

Her family told authorities that she met up with the man at a hotel near the beach on Valentine’s Day and reported her missing after Cigarroa didn’t return home.

Authorities said Cigarroa was found in a fetal position and there were signs of violence. According to the New York Post, her brother Francisco was frustrated with police after they launched a 24-hour search party after she was reported missing.

Francisco said his sister recently graduated with a degree in international business and was known as a peaceful person.

“My sister was very peaceful, smiley, she was a good person and didn’t have any problems with anybody.”

Cigarroa’s death is currently being investigated by the State Attorney General’s Office but the outlet mentioned there were no further details.
