Johnny Depp Claims Amber Heard Wanted To Meet Up With Him Despite Having Filed A Restraining Order Against Ex-Husband

Johnny Depp’s $100 million court battle against ex-wife Amber Heard continues to heat up, with the actor now claiming that his former flame had tried to meet up with him despite having a domestic violence restraining order against him.

During the actor’s cross-examination at a Virginia court on Monday, he alleged that the Aquaman star wanted to organize a get-together in July 2016, two months after she had filed for divorce.

The father-of-two said he had been on a promotional tour for a movie in San Francisco at the time, and he couldn’t quite make sense of Amber wanting to see him considering the that the public had already been left with the impression that Johnny was an abusive husband — a claim he has strongly denied.

Speaking in court on Monday, he expressed, “I was quite confused as to why I had been summoned to her at that point since all the news was just about the fact that I had allegedly done all these horrible things to her.”

“So I was talked into going there and met with her in hopes that she would retract her lies that the world was now fed. In no way was she ready to do that, and I couldn’t understand why I was there — everything had been taken from me, my children couldn’t escape the fact that all this had gone down.”

Johnny continued, saying he believed Amber wanted to meet with Johnny “under false pretense,” before further revealing that he pulled out a knife during their meeting and pled with her to end his suffering after being plagued by claims he was an abusive partner.

“I just took the knife out and said, ‘Here — cut me, that’s what you want to do,” he said. “Ultimately you’ve taken everything. You want my blood? Take it. Have my blood.’ And then she said, ‘No, no’ and then I said, ‘Look, if you’re not going to take it and you want it, I know you want it — that’s all I’ve got left — take it.’”
