Amber Heard Confirms Permanently Moving To Spain

Actress Amber Heard, 37, has no complaints living in Madrid one year after the defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

In the 26-second video posted on TikTok by @casaenplaya, which is run by Nest Seekers International, the “Aquaman” star is seen in front of her home sharing life updates with a cameraman.

“How is your new life here in Madrid?” he asks. She responds in Spanish with a smile, “I love Spain so much.” The bilingual madre reveals that she hopes to stay in Madrid, “I love living here.”

She also says she has more film projects in the works, but for now she is just enjoying her time in Madrid.

In December last year, Amber and Depp settled their defamation case with the actress agreeing to pay her former husband $1 million over claims he physically abused her.

In a post on Instagram, Ms Heard said she was dropping an appeal against the $10 million payout she had been ordered to make by a jury because she “simply cannot go through” another trial.

She said, “After a great deal of deliberation I have made a very difficult decision to settle the defamation case. I make this decision having lost faith in the American legal system, where my unprotected testimony served as entertainment and social media fodder.”
