Person Shot At DaBaby’s Residence For Allegedly Trespassing Onto The Property

Someone was reportedly shot at rapper DaBaby‘s residence.

According to reports from Iredell Firewire, around  7:45 pm this evening, a call came into Iredell County 911 reporting that a subject had been shot on the property of rapper Jonathan “DaBaby” Kirk.

The shooting reportedly occurred near the football field on the property. Initial reports indicate that the subject who was shot had trespassed onto the property.

Troutman Fire – Rescue, Iredell County EMS, and Troutman Police responded to the scene. Iredell County EMS has transported one patient from the scene to an area trauma center with what sources on the scene described as a “non-life-threatening wound to the lower extremity.”

Sources tell us that it was a very tense 911 call as Telecommunicators were instructing the caller to secure his weapon before responders arrived and that he refused, stating there could be more intruders.

Area residents describe the property as “a compound surrounded by fences and walls.”

Identities of the shooter and victim have not been released at this time. It is still a very active scene that we are closely monitoring and will bring you more information as it becomes available.
