The father of the Texas gunman who killed 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary School on Tuesday apologized for his 18-year-old son and said the teen should have killed him instead.

The mother of the Texas shooter has spoken out and says her son was not a violent person. Adriana Reyes says she was surprised to hear the news of the deadly attack.
Reyes says her 18-year-old son, Salvador Ramos, often kept to himself but they weren’t on bad terms. He was shot dead after a shooting left 19 children and two teachers dead and his grandmother in hospital.
Salvador was described by his former classmates as a failed and lonely student who was bullied for being poor and wearing eyeliner.
When referring to him, he was seen as an ’emo’. In addition, his speech problems made him a target of ridicule, according to the Washington Post.
