GoFundMe ‘Shuts Down’ $1M Fundraiser To Help Amber Heard Pay Johnny Depp
GoFundMe Reportedly ‘Shuts Down’ $1M Fundraiser To Help Amber Heard Pay Johnny Depp
As we previously reported, Johnny Depp received a total of $10M in compensatory charges related to lost career opportunities and $5m in punitive damages.

The actress, 36, will only have to pay $10.35 million due to a Virginia law capping punitive damages (the judge reduced the amount). Her attorney spoke out just one day after the verdict and said her client is “absolutely not” able to pay Mr. Depp.

However, a spokesperson for GoFundMe said that it was determined neither Amber nor anyone on her team had created the page and GF was able to flag the profile quickly — before a substantial amount of money, shutting it down.
While Heard figures out her plan, Johnny Depp is enjoying his life now that he “got back.”
