How Many Children Does Nick Cannon Have, And What Has He Said About Getting A Vasectomy?

Actor and comedian Nick Cannon recently made headlines as his family continues to grow larger so we’re going to look deeper into how children he has along with his views on vasectomies.

Nick Cannon’s dating history throughout the years

Nick Cannon started dating Christina Milian shortly while filming “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” in 2003 and dated for two years before breaking up in 2005. A year later, he dated Kim Kardashian but she claims they were never really “an official couple.” However, Cannon says she was a great person and called her family “some of the most incredible people I’ve met in my life” during an interview.

His most highly publicized relationship and later marriage were with Mariah Carey. The former couple started dating in 2008 and then tied the knot a few later. In 2011, they welcomed their twins, daughter Monroe and son Morrocco but the couple divorced three years later but still co-parent to this day.

Nick Cannon had more children after ending his marriage with Mariah Carey.

Currently, the media mogul is not in a relationship but he has fathered five children with Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, and Alyssa Scott. With Britney Bell, they have a son, Golden,5, and a daughter, Powerful Queen, 1. Cannon and Scott have a son named Zen, five months, and twins Zillion and Zion,1, with De La Rosa. Sadly, Zen passed away after battling brain cancer.

He has seven children in total but Scott recently announced that she’s pregnant with her second child. Cannon also has two more children on the way with model Brie Tiesel and De La Rosa.

Cannon’s views on celibacy and vasectomies

Prior to announcing that he was expecting his ninth and tenth children, the media mogul promised to take a vow of celibacy last year during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“I come from a big family, I have several siblings, being raised in an unorthodox family by my grandparents at times, I’ve experienced such a wide range of upbringing that I have such a love and passion for kids and family. I want a big family too. The Lord has blessed me with what I asked, but ask and you shall receive. But I’m not sitting out here planning it. My therapist says I should be celibate.”

He also said in the interview that he wants to be more transparent as a public figure.

“I want to be transparent. Never been a person that’s shied away from talking about my life. But I want to refocus it on others. I’m gonna be talking for an hour each and every day, hopefully, people get to know me in a very intimate way. If I’m in the headlines the night before, I’m definitely talking about it the next morning.”

Cannon recently participated in a comedic skit with fellow actor Ryan Reynolds where they starred in an ad called “The Vasectomy” but he did say he saw a vasectomy consultant last month.
